Mama Akosua Agyapomaa

1945 - 2026

"A life of love, a heart of gold, her spirit and legacy will forever be told."

Obituary

Mama Akosua Agyapomaa, fondly known as "Nana" by her grandchildren and "Obaatan Pa" by the community, was born on March 15, 1945, in Asante Mampong to the late Opanin Kwaku Dua and Obaapanin Abena Konadu.

A devoted Christian, loving mother, and community pillar, Mama Akosua dedicated her life to nurturing her family and serving others. She was a founding member of the Women's Fellowship at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church and mentored countless young women in the community.

She is survived by her five children: Kofi, Ama, Kwame, Akosua, and Yaw; twelve grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Her husband, the late Opanin Kwabena Agyapomaa, preceded her in death in 2018.

Mama Akosua peacefully transitioned on January 10, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones. Her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering faith touched everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
